Holy crap it's been a long time coming! I'm getting used to drawing with just one pixel-width I think but to make it work I have to use construction lines even though I originally wanted to do this comic without them. I think it turned out okay and I'm leaving most of the construction lines in with the blue colour because I think it looks pretty good. It seems to give it more depth or something like all my recent drawings. It might seem weird but if I erase them it just doesn't look the way I want it.
Shortly after getting my new Imac it alerted me that they were going to change their software or something and I should 'contact the manufacturer of my current tablet' and ask them to update their driver. I can't be bothered, if Wacom can't keep up with this stuff they don't need me to tell them. Not that it's their fault of course.
So anyhow I'm thinking of getting one of the Mac drawing tablets, does anyone around here have any experience with those? I'm wondering if it'll let me use all the features of oekaki like the Wacom tablet used to do. I bet the Mac tablets are pretty pricey so I don't want to spend the dough on something that'll just be like what I got now. Since hardly anyone uses oekaki anymore maybe it's a 'problem' with oekaki rather than my tablet. I might even end up just drawing stuff on a drawing program and then uploading it to here. What do YOU think?

I'm not entirely sure what interface ChickenPaint uses, but I believe modern browsers support pressure tablets natively. Updating to the latest version of ChickenPaint is a massive pain, so I haven't updated in a while.

And, yeah, every OS developer these days is fucking up drivers and stuff for no damn reason. Nobody follows standards or supports hardware for more than a couple years anymore (as if tablets were ever properly supported in the first place). Just about everything outside of social media and "mainstream" tasks is broken or abandoned these days, so we artists don't count.

Feel free to upload files. Doing oekakis natively is really difficult and any content is better than nothing. 8)

Yes, it's the old stereo from like 1978 that I *try* to draw in the comic but doesn't always look the way I intend in those little panels. That's supposed to be the lava lamp behind her and of course the styrofoam head that made Pinton finally crack. :crazy:

So my Windows machine started to act up and I went out and bought another computer. I went back to Mac and I'm very happy with it so far. Just downloaded the software for my Wacom Intuos and it looks like I can draw here using Safari as a browser with no problems. Didn't have to download any Java stuff or anything so it's looking awesome as of right now... :gamer:

Holy crap I'm trying to draw here but now I can't change the pixel width of the pen-strokes! I got a message about a week ago that the latest upgrade for my computer might not be compatible with the current Wacom driver so hopefully that's the problem. Fucking Mac sucks I'm going back to Windows fucking Windows is where it's at man. I miss how I have to pay for all the different security programs every year and how they suddenly become incompatible with each other and the frequent crashes and subscribing every year to have a fucking WORD PROCESSOR! Or maybe I'll try installing the new driver if it even exists But I'll do that later right now I'm just going to listen to some more tunes and drink some more beer and maybe try drawing something mediocre with one pixel. I can't believe how awesome computers have become and it's only the 21st century! :gamer:
