The only thing that makes is "not-halloweeny" (hehe) is the PASTELS. It's too bright and clean.

the only suggestion i have is to tweak her nose a bit. youve got the bottom defined well, and i think that if you had a bit more definition up the side, just on the lower part. having a hard time finding the words. think of the bottom of the nose in three parts, each nostril then the 'ball' in the center, if you had a bit more definition of the 'ball' part it would make it look more human and less bunnyish? you -could- define the nose area up near the eyes, without it she feels more asian, with it she'd probably feel more hispanic. just some thoughts!

other than that one small nitpick, she looks fantastic, and as always your colors and composition are primo.

Ah~ Thank you so much! Such great detail. =) I know a little bit but I don't know the full extent of making such a beautiful picture through these programs. I'm seriously babied by photoshop. I tried to use one of these oekaki programs for a big project and then somehow it got eaten. I really haven't tried using one since then. I think I started working on my Dreamland Girl story about 4-4.5 years ago. I thought I'd wait to do a story until my art got better but then what a better way to practice than to just do it. I've started working on another story called Desert Planet. Maybe you would be interested in doing a piece for that too? My thought with commissioning artist to do some art work for my story was to maybe have chapter blocks as I call them or sort of cover art. Like you see with comics sometimes the cover art is way better than the actual artwork inside. Which this is waaaaay better than what I have XD. I've been lurking here for a long time now, been thinking of trying to draw something here... eh, maybe some day =) I read you said you did comissions so I thought I'd ask you to do this for me and you did, and it's lovely! Many thanks! Boy is this getting as long as my email messages... ;p anyway, I'll be seeing you all around, but you won't see me *vanishes back into the fold of the internet*

Very good work. I like the colors and all the details in the soil, grass, clouds, etc. As for the girl, she's very well done. The folds in her clothes nicely define her body shape. Maybe you could add some definition to the nose like calli said. But still, she's fine just like that. What's this little "thing" beside her? Is it a 5-eyed, 3-fingered mole? It's very weird and cool, in a Future Pig-ish way.

Do you use any other digital programs? OR does oekaki just give you the pixel art that you like?

Some folks get snippy but most will try to help if you ask. @B4rT : Its a Molecat XD kinda hard to explain it, its just a cute thing I've doodled from time to time. I'll have to post a full pic of one sometime. @Blenderman : I use Paintbbs oekaki (don't like shi o.o) Photoshop,SAI (when I had the trial lol) and sometimes oC. oekaki is my main digital program thou most of the time I just use real media.

No, no, don't take it badly! I was only making a suggestion. I already know Blenderman is one of the best here, I've browsed the entire 75 pages. He's still one of my favorites and I've archived many of his drawings that I like.

All he did was give a critique. He didn't say it in a mean way, he worded it politely. Trolls are specifically looking to upset someone. Jeez, are we THAT uptight here that we can't take mild criticism?

I like to draw outside oekaki more than in it. So will people feel cheated if I upload artwork?

I myself wouldnt mind uploads in dry times so long as its not in overpowering ammounts turning this place from oekaki site to art gallery <3
