Got to say it, have you ever herd of Weeki Wachee Springs ?? http://weekiwachee.com/mermaid/ Place a few min north of where I live, they have "live mermaids" its amazing fun to go there and act like a lil kid again...and there's MANATEES. Also the gallery at the site especially the old 50s 60s ones might have some ref value for you or really anyone, I look at it alot myself. ^^

I see what you mean by the "Valley of the Breasts," But I guess I've kinda avoided widened hips so the upper legs don't look flabby. I mean theres generous baby makin' hips, but then there's freakish obscenity from the Maury show hips.

When i see breasts like that, i want to cop them with both hands to save them! poor things!

If you go by oldschool proportions (at least, what they taught me in art class, waaay back in the day) a womans hips should be darn close to how wide her shoulders are. And a females shoulders are only about 1 head wide on either side. Of course, todays supermodels have kind of thrown those proportions out the window, but you have to keep in mind that most of them are over six feet tall; I think the average height of women is like 5'5" or 5'6".

I have to say that is an amazing piece of art. I would not of assocatied with "sean's" work if it hadn't been your character and your name next to it! It may not be perfect, but it is a far cry more awesome than past work! Grats!

wow, you are getting a lot better, especially at faces. one thing i think you should look at are how female breasts naturally hang from and attach to the chest. i would say work on nipple size/placement too, but it's not IMPOSSIBLE for a woman to have nips like the ones you drew... just, not really likely. so maybe it's just your preference.

Hey Sean, this is really nice work, I'm so happy to see that everytime I look at what you are doing new, I can see improvements. Here's a couple of ideas that i would love to see you work on: Your torsos always feel a little bit squished comparatively. I find that drawing out a skeletal structure before I start really getting into details helps me alot. Also, breasts move, and when a character is lying down they look different than a view from where she is standing. Breasts move to the side usually, and create a valley in the chest, and large breasts like you've drawn sometimes end up with the curve ending around the armpit or ribcage area. For breast refference, I highly suggest porn...from the seventies. Seriously. Just some thoughts, Keep on working, I think you're doing great.
