My oekaki won't let me change ANYTHING

I logged in and went to the Control Panel, wanting to change the name.

But it didn't let me.

So I tried to change something else.

It didn't let me.

I logged off, then logged back on.

I tried again.

It didn't let me.

Help? D:

Im using Wacintaki 1.3.3

Edit: It won't let me change my Rules either.

Re: My oekaki won't let me change ANYTHING

Sounds like an admin did some maintenance to your site, and everything got locked.

Two ways to fix this... the easy way, and the thourough way:

1) Get the "reclaim.php" script from the Wacintaki distribution, copy it to your oekaki folder, and run it.

2) Log in as the owner, and type "testinfo.php" into the address bar.  This will bring up the diagnostics page and let you know what is not working.  Most likely, you'll have to go into an FTP program and CHMOD the "config.php" and "dbconn.php" files to 664.  Then, inside the "resource" folder, CHMOD "banner.php", "ips.txt", "hosts.txt", "notice.php", and "notice.php" to 664.  If you need to unlock a folder, folders should be CHMOD to 775.  Let me know if you cannot post pictures.  Do not mess with the CHMOD numbers for the pictures and avatars folders if they are working!

Oh, I forgot I have the file in the archive folder:  reclaim.php

Upload it to the oekaki folder and run it (type in the name in your browser's address bar).

If it doesn't work, it should let you know, and for more precise instructions on what to do, I'll need a link to your board.

Re: My oekaki won't let me change ANYTHING

Try updating to Wacintaki 1.3.5.  I made some changes that affect FunPic.  You'll need the 1.3.0 to 1.3.5 patch.

FunPic has been a real pain in the neck since they updated their server.  The changes I made to 1.3.5 should allow the control panel to work normally, but people still can't get the board to install.  I guess I'll have to register an account with FunPic to see what the problem is.

As for the rules, the word "porn" is filtered, so if you use it when submitting new rules, the server will just THROW AWAY your submission, resulting in the board saying "No Mode", or something similar.  Avoid using any questionable words, because FunPic does not like them.  Other words that are filtered include "work", "casino", and various other words associated with spam.

Re: My oekaki won't let me change ANYTHING

Okay, I fixed the rules. ^^;

And I downloaded the patch. Do I put it in it's own folder, or in the the oekaki folder? Because I kept it so when you go to your normal website with the Index, I went to patch and it said..

Click here to run the installer.

and I clicked, but it went to a 404 page. D:

Re: My oekaki won't let me change ANYTHING

Just copy all the files from the patch to the oekaki folder, overwriting the files that exist.  Yeah, there's a lot of files to overwrite.
