Brothers in Arms, one of my favorite records. And I used to like Hotel California as well, although I find the Eagles petered out after that. Both very classic rock albums though. I like the red outside the windows.

Oh, also, the green one in front kind of looks like The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds.

Thanks for the comments everbody! After so much time not posting pics I couldn't have asked for a warmer reception. I'm glad the album covers are so recognizable, I only own a casset of Brothers In Arms so I didn't know if the LP had the same art on it or not when I drew this. And yes, these two characters have very straight-forward names, but that was a conscious decision, in story context, Kitty originally didn't have a proper name at all, but being referred to as Kitty was preferable to 'test subject #6'.

This is extremely nice, the perspective is perfect, the anatomy of the man and the girl is also perfect, hehe the girl is also a very hot animal-person. And the lines are very clean and the colours are very pretty and soft. You can draw both people and scenery perfect. Excellent! |XOD|

I don't care if you're man or beast, you're gonna hesitate when you feel those three red triangles lock onto you. AVP has a lot going for it to be a good film. Of course AVP isn't going to be based off of one of the video games by that name, this is a comic book movie! The premise is taken from the old Dark Horse Comics; Adolescent Predators (Yautja) going through the usual right of passage of surviving a hive of aliens (Xenomorphs) that the Yautja elders have arranged for them. It is a glorious baptism by fire, If they can survive the Xenos then they have the right to call themselves hunters. This can often get out of hand and lead to the death of initiates. This has been laid out well in the AVP comics, and anyone excited enough about this movie to check out all the extra clips about it on apple.com and the movie's homepage can easily see that this is the premise they have chosen for the film. It seems that a lot of people have already decided that it's going to be a bad movie because half of the Alien films were bad. Of course they forget one thing, all of the Predator movies were good, and this is as much a Predator movie as an Alien movie, and it is very clear that the film-makers are trying to make continuity with the good films and not the bad. Here's a little touch they've put in that should please anyone well versed in the film Aliens; They have included in the near future setting of the film the precursor to the evil company Wayland-Yutani. The Wayland Corporation, lead by Charles Bishop Wayland, the man they would later base the design of the Bishop model of androids off of, so they can have the actor Lance Henrikson in this film, anyone who knows what I just rattled off should think that kicks ass. And yes I am a slathering fanboy of both these movie franchises, at least the good films from them.

Actually, when I think AVP, I think about the books (AVP:Prey, AVP:War). Prey has to be the -coolest- book in the world, although Ender's Game and Watership Down are right up there with it.. well, anyway, AVP: Prey is pretty much the same premise. Not to mention Yautja and Xenomorphs are fucking hot. Here comes another AVPgasm. Unfortunately it's on my roomie's birthday, and he hates my love for AVP.. it's also the day the Yu-Gi-Oh movie comes out, so.. theaters filled with screaming kids, ugh. But this is an awesome picture. Quite fucking awesome, indeed.

Yes, that's it... build your hopes up! I assume that every movie I go to see will suck. That way, instead of being sorely disappointed most of the time, I'm nicely surprised some of the time!

Yea, I knew about the story, I didn't actually read all the comics but I know the story. It's the same in the games as far as what the predators are doing. But I'm sorry I just don't buy the precursor thing, it's way too early to have aliens on earth before all the other alien movies, it doesn't make sense and contradicts a lot of stuff. I dunno maybe they pulled it off in this movie but I don't see how, I just think it would have been better off in the future after weyland-yutani already captured aliens and bred them artificially. And there were even some humans against humans trying to capture the aliens. Like the corporate mercs trying to get rid of the government marines who had no clue, just big guns. And one of the humans had beef with a predator when he was younger which brought one predator more into the story. That's how the avp 2 game for pc was. If you're a fan of this stuff and haven't played it you should, the 1p game itself is pretty bad ass.

The reason I see for them getting away with having aliens on earth so early is that every trace of them is gonna be gone at the end of the film, the predators have those self destruct guantlets for a reason, that's why it all takes place in the middle of the Antartic, so they can nuke the hell out of it, you just see, that is what they will do.

I LOVED the first two ALIEN movies. Third one sucked hardkore, fourth one was meh. Tolerable, but only just.

yea, I kind of figured that the aliens are gonna get wiped off the face of the earth by the end, hence that's why weyland-yutani will find out about them and get them. but the whole idea of having that complex on earth hidden away without anyone finding it, that's kind of very fantastic and magical fairy talish. not that there's anything wrong with that sort of stuff but to me it seems that clashes with the whole feel of the whole thing. not to mention the fact that the company would keep the whole thing secret for hundreds of years. ok if you can believe that. doesn't seem like the best way to do it. but again, maybe i will get proven wrong. I saw the new previews and some predator was slamming a lunging alien against a wall, so maybe at least the special effects will be worth it

Wow, you guys make it sound worth seeing now. I didn't even know there was a comic out which blended these two 'universes' together. If it's well thought out and fits in with what's been established previously then it should be really good. So yeah I will watch the movie, because of what you said and also this drawing which is a masterpiece. OH YEAH!

This drawing is beyond awesome!!!!!! I still have very low hopes with the AVP movie. Hollywood just ran out of ideas. Next they will do Jaws vs. Howard the Duck... or something!
