I like the unusual anatomy. In other words, I like to see Tawny toonish body dimensions transposed into a realistic style. Actually the result is not toonish any more. I didn't say anything particularly mean, or not intended to be mean. But I did say that the kiddie-looking characters disturbed me, because they do, and because I don't feel they're appropriate for this site. I hope Rapps continues to draw here, because your other art has been very nice. As for the other weird art - there's other stuff I don't care for, but as long as it's among consenting adult people (human or anthro or whatever), it doesn't bother me. The Doug porn bothered me too, but it was less 'creepy kiddie porn' and more 'lulz rule 34'

I thought it was a cute drawing. I consider stuff like this very distrubing. Bizarre rat-creatures looking like they could kill me and shadowy forms that look like crap I had to deal with in my nightmares as a child.

No, actually I'm making the point that once you start saying some pic is creepy for one reason or another, you open up the doors to the same commetns on your own pictures.

facking hell. Seraph, as awesome as this is, you're probably best deleting it because some people can't play nice. The pic offended, I deleted it, I am not butthurt, end of story. This is the EXACT situation I wanted to avoid. Arguing on my behalf just makes me look worse, this is not what I want, I want this situation over with, and the world to move on, because it's just a fucking picture, I realize some people don't have the same interests as me, and I don't care, it's no need for a bloody arguement.

I'm not "defending" you. You chose to delete your own picture. It always annoys me when artists/authors do that. It figures that DTP has been slow for weeks, and all the intrigue occurs when I'm gone for the weekend. I'd like everyone to feel welcome here, and since I missed it all, I won't throw in an empty 2 cents. I would remind people, though, that this is an adult-rated board, so I'll expect people to be patient, and I'll deal with things as they happen. We get very few problems around here with that policy, so I'd rather keep doing that rather than try to make a large crop of monolithic rules. As for child-like erotic art, I'm not a fan of it and I don't think it really fits with the content guidelines, so unless you intend to do something elaborate (and are willing to take some flak) it'd probably be best to avoid posting that kind of subject matter. If you're going to draw unpopular or controversial topics, at least have the balls to deal with the backlash.

I've never really cared about various odd or gross porn/art, or anything that has content that isn't my thing because I just consider it a drawing, which it is, and I can just choose not to look, but that's just me. Just look at Xod's old art, I love the guy but half his stuff creeps the hell out of me so I don't look at that, but his other art is really hot and I very much do look at it

Ooh, gloomy. Well the only suggestion I can make is to add ambient lighting. Though I 'm sure you don't need it if its the high contrast look you're going for.

Have I mentioned that Ras is officially the sexiest ratman EVER. I'd go in.

My thoughts are that your shading itself is excellent. Perspective-wise I would have made the shadow lines from the feet more parallel, since the light source appears to be fairly far away. That goes for the lines on both sides of the bottom of the door too. If the light source was say a lamp directly behind Erasmus' beckoning hand then the flared-out shadows would have been bang-on.
