You need to upgrade the installer for mySQL 5!
I ran the installer on my home computer (running on Apache). I have PHP 5 and mySQL5... I think it's a similar problem to last time when I installed Wacintaki.
Out of range value adjusted for column 'ID' at row 1
Invalid default value for 'PIC_ID'
Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'KID' at row 1
A bunch of tables haven't be created properly. Including the member list table and the picture tables.
Sorry to bother you with this problem.

Well, after a lot of moaning, I finally updated my database to MySQL 5, and figured out where all the errors were coming from. A new version of Wax will be updated soon.
In the meantime, you can get a MySQL 5 compatible installer for Wax Poteto 5.4.6 here: *REMOVED*
UPDATE: Wax Poteto 5.5.5 has been posted.
