Drawpile is probably the most common and supported.
Relatively easy to use.
Has centralized index server.

Shi PaintChat
Status: abandoned since 2005Available: Java applets, decompiled sourcecode.
An old classic. Comfortable user interface with a few catches(try rightclicking/ctrlclicking the toolbars).
Largely unusable today due to being a Java applet.

ParuPaint
Status: hiatus since 2016Available: Sourcecode, binaries for Windows, Linux, Mac.
Very minimal user interface that requires learning keyboard shortcuts to properly use.
A web client exists for it, but usage is not documented.
