Hey, it's the whole family! Last-minute contemplations abound as they're just about ready to get on the plane to America. It's very nice to see the whole cast together in a slice-o'-life portrait.

Dunno what's up with the big feet, but I like them. :D

Delphis couldn't get a Wac in the Box, so he had to settle for bottled Wac. And you can't Wac that. :9

It's interesting how I'm 100% volume. If that were proof, I'd be only half-a-Wac.

Now this is weird (ahhhh). There's a clinical term for those inflicted with no sense of weridness. To those people I say, “Talk softly and carry a big newspaper, 'cause this bug bites!”

Another semi-evil drawing of Robert, who is either cross with someone shorter than himself, or simply contemplating the existence of the ground (he does that from time to time). ;)

Yay, finally something with Chris in it! And I'm sure he's more than thrilled to be featured in it, too! :)

It just proves that you can't keep a dingo or his BO down!

Holy raccoon! Some people just don't know when to stop! It's another fabulous Robert pose by Paul Prower, and Robert's undoubtedly laughing at... something.

Hmm... methinks I'll have to get some dingo fans in here, too. :)

But, will I complain about more Robert pics? Oh noooooooooo...

It's Robert again, everyone's favorite neurotic-depressive raccoon! This one suddenly appeared out of nowhere from the generous M.T. Prower, a fan of Tails the fox and The Raccoons (the 1980's TV show).

But, good grief, what's that distorted blob in the background?! Oh, WHEW... that's just me.

I never got a chance to see the original TV show, “The Raccoons”, so I'm not sure what the real Bert would say if he had to deal with me, but I suppose this reaction is entirely fit. :)

Chris Sketch - by Alan Foreman (Halfstar) - [Homepage] 526 Views - 0 Comments

A very early and lazy sketch of Chris with a shocked expression. I don't beleive there's a backstory to this, other than one of Al's many, many attempts to encourage me to draw.

The prolific Alan Foreman has drawn me more guest art than anyone else over all the years, and I believe this is the first. I have a hard time drawing the mask on Robert's face, and some people have told me Robert looks like a cat. This is the solution Alan used.

An easier solution, though, is to simply shoot anyone who calls Chris and Robert, “The Fox and Cat guys.” GRRRRR!!!

Mega Star!
The Peace Pipe - by Shane Fisher 345 Views - 0 Comments
1996 · (624 × 800)
$ Commission

My first commission is from the terrific comic artist Shane Fisher, and I have had it hanging on my bedroom wall ever since. I enjoyed one of Shane's portfolios so much that I wrote him a letter. Yes, people actually wrote letters to each other back then, and even commissioned artwork through the post. You kids these days are so spoiled! ;)

Here we have a Native American raccoon carving the stem of a peace pipe. Hollow reeds were often used, but a wooden stem could also be used by a talented artisan. The pipe itself is made of hardened clay or stone which was shaped and drilled with quartz.

Note that the original had white space between the trees. I filled in the background digitally to give the picture a bit more weight.
