I had to put my dog to sleep due to his old age. It would be easier to cope if he hadn't had such a sad life.

It's hard to rehabilitate abused animals. I don't think I'll ever have another dog again.

One of several bits of bonus art from the Wacintosh Files comic book.

I think it goes out of print in October, so go grab a copy. ;)

Fun fact: my left eye is much more sensitive to red, and my right eye is sensitive to blue. I have a lot of trouble seeing colors correctly if I have to use only one eye, and I see much better in the dark with my left eye, even though I'm right-eye dominant.

I'm not sure how common this is, or if I'm affected worse than other people, but when I'm not doing color-sensitive work, it's kind of cool.

In any case, I do apologize for the gross technical inaccuracy of this drawing. I would never eat movie popcorn. Yuck!

I met up with Kngru at FA:United (a furry con) and he asked me for... uh, Tawny in a kangaroo suit stuffing me into her pouch.

That was too weird to pass up.

Kabukihomewood (aka Sabine) requested this picture and I delivered! Well, at least I did, like, five months later.

It's Terzy, Tawny, and myself having a picnic, and... hmm... it looks like Tawny is the one being jealous this time. :)

This has to be the third or fourth time I've ever done a proper background, and given how “busy” it is, it shows. I was going to leave this in black and white, but I think it really needs color. The black mountains look pretty dumb, but I totally messed up the cross hatching on them. I'm still pretty happy with it, though.

Tawny and I have been invited to the Future Pig Anniversary Party [FuturePig.com]. We both show up in our own distinctive garb, and of course Tawny has already found a partner... that isn't me.

What? Me, jealous? Naw, of course not!

Waccoon Can't Enjoy His 404 316 Views - 0 Comments
July 26, 2007 · (360 × 360)

OK, so there was a guy on FurAffinity who created an account named “Krystal Can't Enjoy Her Sandwich”, and he started posting lots of random images with a little picture of Nintendo's Krystal eating a sandwich in the lower-left corner of each one. One of the FA admins-in-training didn't like it, so he made some blustering threats that the account would be shut down due to spam. Well, FA members didn't like that one bit, so everyone started making “Member Can't Enjoy His Something” parodies.

Given that my old avatar was me with 404s covering my [now shrunken] manboobs, I figured I'd use that instead of a sanwich/taco/shoopdawoop like everyone else.

A bikini version of the Tower of Tawny picture, retouched in 2010 as a reference sheet. The other version is only visible in the adult gallery.

This was supposed to be an oekaki for the weekly theme on DTP, but the sketches I did on paper turned out pretty well, so I scanned it and inked it with my tablet. Now you get to see it in anti-aliased glory.

At the time I was still working on refining the style, so I tried a few different poses. These three were the best of the bunch.

And, yes, she has more of the “dork” smile than the “come hither” smile. I rarely find pin-ups interesting, so if I'm going to do them, I'd rather they be silly and fun.

I hate those parodies almost as much as the commercials.

This is really just a sketch, but I still like it the way it is.

I really started getting into NASCAR in the 2001 season, probably because that was when NASCAR Racing 4 was released, which quickly became my favorite racing game. My dad and I took a trip to Talladega that year, which was my first live car race, too. Man, it was so freakin' loud!

The cars were noisy, too.

I've since lost interest in NASCAR in favor of rallying, but I'd be willing to attend a race at New Hampshire at some point in the future. The small tracks are much more interesting than the superspeedways.

Here it is, the picture that defined my modern style. I sketched this out on paper, scanned it, traced it in Illustrator (making lots of fixes to the proportions of the head), then shaded it in Photoshop on a Mac at school. It took a long time to finish. But, it was worth it.

BTW, I really do have a collar and dog tag that says “Waccoon!” Now all I need is a purple checkerboard vest! Be afraid! MUHAHAHA!

Here's the original sketch. “One of these pics is not like the other...”
