Im lost T_T

I dont have idea about what i hve to do in step two:
Step 2: Create Folder
Log into your site with FTP. If you're not that experienced with FTP, keep in mind that many FTP programs can use both a www and ftp address to log into a server, so “www.Server.com” and “ftp.Server.com” should both work. If you have trouble, try the ftp prefix instead of www. The “Server Port” is almost always 21. Other ports can be specified by the server, but 21 is the default for most servers and FTP programs. The FTP username and password should be obvious. smile

Many servers have a special folder in which you need to upload files. If you're used to uploading files with a web-based file manager, rather than FTP, you'll need to look for a public share folder which is usually called “public_html”, “www”, “web”, or sometimes “home.” If you do not create your oekaki folder in that special “public” folder, your files are considered to be private and will not show up on the Internet. Some servers do not have this public share folder, so if you don't see it, don't worry. UNIX / Linux servers usually have this folder, Windows servers may not.

Once you're logged in and in the correct upload folder, create a directory on your server for Wacintaki. This directory may be any name you choose, though names in all lower-case letters and with no spaces or weird characters, like apostrophes and symbols, is recommended.

CHMOD this directory to 755 (preferred), or 777. To CHMOD files in most FTP programs, right-click the file and choose CHMOD or something related to changing permissions.

If your server gives you a 500 error when trying to run the installer, you cannot use 777. If the server gives you a 403 error or the installer tells you the folders are still locked, you cannot use 755. In extreme cases, where both 755 and 777 do not work, try using 775.

Example: The “oekaki” directory is created as the directory in which to install Wacintaki.

i already made my account in lycos, in finpic.de and i dont get it T_T

i really want to make my oekaki, and i already read the newbie guide, and i continue without understand anything ;_;

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for read this

Well, "step 2" involves uploading files, and there's multiple steps to doing that.

At FunPic, when you create an account, it will tell you what your FTP login is, and what the name of your database is.  Write down that information, because you will need it for the installer.

In your FTP program, type in the information given to you by FunPic.  If you don't have an FTP program, you will have to get one, as explained in the manual.  You need the FTP address, login, and password.  All the other settings in your FTP program may be left alone.

FunPic does not have a "public" folder.  Don't worry about that.

If FunPic will only be hosting the oekaki, and not a web site, you do not need to create a folder for the oekaki.  Just upload the files from the "oekaki" folder in the Wacintaki ZIP file to the server.  Do not upload the other folders (documentation, new_chat, readme files, etc.)

After all the files and folders have been uploaded, you must change the permissions of the "resource" and "templates" folders to 775.  To do this, right-click on a file/folder in the FTP client, and on the pop-up menu, choose "permissions", "properties", or "CHMOD".  Every FTP program has a different term for changing permissions.  Then, change the number to 775.

If your FTP program uses check boxes instead of a CHMOD number, make sure "group write" is checked.  This is the only check box you should have to change.

Once the "resource" and "templates" folders are CHMOD to 775 (given "group write" permissions), you may quit your FTP program, and run the installer.  To run the installer, you will need the database information from FunPic.

How can i do taht?

and, i finally make the installation, but, in the end, that is in the screen:

ERROR: Could not connect to MySQL database with supplied information.
DB: Access denied for user 'Havenbrook'@'192.168.144.2' (using password: YES)

Well, if the installer tries to connect to the database, then the "resource" and "templates" folders are fine.  You don't need to worry about the CHMOD numbers.

As for the database information, you'll have to take a look at your control panel at FunPic.  If I remember correctly, you must turn on the database before you can connect.  When you turn it on, FunPic will tell you what your database name will be.

You will need the database username, database password, and database name.  Do you know this information?  Please do not print it here.

The database username and database name are usually the same as your FunPic account name, except in lower case.  Try "havenbrook", and not "Havenbrook".  You must get or set the database password on FunPic.

If you're really stuck, I can install it.  E-mail me and I'll tell you what info I'll need.  It's best if you try to install it yourself, though.
