That depends how the boards are connected. If both boards are on the same sub-domain on the same server, it is possible to upload avatars properly from either board. If they are on different sub-domains, then it might be difficult, depending on how the server is set up.
In case you're not aware, a sub-domain is a prefix on the domain name, as follows:
DOMAIN: mysite.com WORLD WIDE WEB DOMAIN: www.mysite.com SUB-DOMAIN: oekaki.mysite.com
So I have the users all set up so they can log in for both with the same user/name password, no problems there. Buuuut they can only have a working avatar at one site!
I realize that I need to edit where one of them draws the avatar URLs from so that it links correctly, but is there an easy way to do this? I don't even know where to begin looking for all the user avatar instances :S
Any advice would be grand!
EDIT: Fixed the above problem, I was being stupid and forgot there was a setting in config. BUT if someone uploads from the board that is not the 'main' one, will it not upload properly?
