Wacintaki allows owners to completely disable smilies on the board, and you can also disable them in your account profile, so you don't see them (but other people do).
There is no way to disable them on a post-by-post basis, however.
You can remove the smilies by going into your control panel. Use Smilies in Comments? - Make sure that's selected as No.
Is there a way I can remove the smileys? I don't hate them, but I'm personally not too fond of using emoticons, so I was wondering if there was a way to edit them out so that whenever I type ":D" a smiley doesn't show up.
