Er... I buy my webspace, so I'm not sure what options there are for free sites.

Let me see if I can dig up some recommendations from the suteki.nu forum.  That's the official OP forum and people there ask that question a lot.

oh no ;_;

Do you have any server to reccommend to me?

I'm afraid your server is crippled.  It doesn't allow file uploads and is attaching banner ads to all kinds of files where it shouldn't.  I'm not sure why drawing with the applets doesn't work, but the pictures are all corrupted, too (I downloaded one and looked at it in a hex editor).

You may have to look for a new host.  A lot of free websites that say they have PHP support have a lot of features turned off so they can't run things like forums.  I'll keep this in mind if anyone asks if SiteBurg can host an oekaki.

Let me try to upload something.  I have a feeling it's a problem with your Internet connection or the server, however, as the board uploads the image "as is".  Maybe I can figure out if something isn't configured properly.

this is the only kind of problem I'm having with this installation of wacintaki.  I haven't tried jpg.  I get the same result with all png's, regardless of the size of the image.

Do you at least get a partial image?  If you try to upload a really tiny picture (15K or so), do you still have the same problem?  Does this happen only with a single type of image, or all PNGs and JPEGs?

This sounds like a corrupt upload where the end of the picture is getting chopped off.  This may be difficult to fix as the speed and quality of your connection, and the server timeout, is likely responsible.  Do you have any other performance-related problems?

GDLib figures out the size of the image, and if the picture is corrupt, it will likely return a height of zero.

As soon as I click "upload image"  I get this message when I try to look at the image:

"The image <img url> cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." FROM MY BROWSER (firefox)

when I right-click -> property on the images, it seems that the height of the image is saved as 0.  I also get this problem when I try Internet Explorer.

Does anyone know what's wrong? *sob*

If you need an account to diagnose the problem, I can create one for you.

This is Wacintaki 1.1.5 (not upgraded from oekaki poteto)

Thanks in advance >_<
