Microsoft's version of Java doesn't support retouching PNG files. There are a few things you can do:
- Turn on animations when you draw. The animations are used for retouching.
- Upload a GIF or JPEG and try to retouch that. The retouch problems seem to affect PNG files only.
I can't retouch on shi painter. I'm using IE without java but I can draw on it.
