Well the multiple indexes is in fact for multiple boards. What I mean by being saved to the wrong directory is that with those two users, their pictures got saved to the pictures directory in another folder. http://oekaki.oevista.org/pictures is the folder it should have been saved to, while for a couple users, it contantly gets saved to http://oekaki.oevista.org/beta2/pictures

I'm not sure why it's getting saved there. But I'll check those things that you said.

OK, you mention in the notice that pictures are getting saved to the wrong directory.  What directories are you using?  From what I can tell, you have multiple index files in one directory (to simulate different boards), but they all share the same pictures folder and config files.  I don't know why files would be saved to the "wrong" pictures folder.  Are you trying to shuffle images between two different boards, each in its own directory?

At the top of the boot.php file, there's a definition of "$p_pic".  This is the path of all pictures with the prefix included, and is used by paintsave.  Make sure this value is being set properly.  Also make sure that this variable (as well as the $cfg array) is made global if you are trying to access any pictures from within functions.

No I haven't changed the paintsave file at all. I modified the applet pages to include the headers and a little bit of javascript but other than that, no.

OK, you're using a modified board, so this might be tricky.

Did you change the paintsave.php file at all?  Given that all the applets are having this issue, it seems to be a problem with the paint save routines, rathter than with the applet parsers.  If you did change that file, you can send it to me and I'll have a look at it.

http://oekaki.oevista.org/

I just finished version 5 of OeVista and everything was going well until just recently.

Some people are having a problem with 'saving pictures'. What's odd is that I don't even know if its a saving problem.

Every time they submit a picture, they say they can see the picture. They can even click on the picture and view the actual png of it, but when I look at the index, I don't see their picture. I see a broken link and a broken thumbnail. This has happened with three different people now, but everyone else has been having no problems submitting pictures.

Now on top of them being able to see THEIR pics that no one else can see, they CAN'T see any other pictures on the oekaki other than theirs.

I thought it was a thumbnail issue at first so I tried to force the thumbnail by using the [thumb] link but it gave me an error saying the picture did not exist so I checked it through FTP and obviously, I didn't see the picture in the pictures folder.

Then I thought it may have been a cache problem so I cleared my cache and nothing changed.

I'm at a loss now. I wanted to try to fix it but I don't really know how ._. or even what's wrong.

[EDIT]: http://oekaki.oevista.org/beta2/ now I'M the one seeing their pictures and not anyone else's. I feel crazy x.x;

[EDIT2]: I've done more exploring... and on that link up there, I can see only the pictures of the people who dont show up on the main link. So I checked FTP and the pictures that DONT show up in the pictures folder on the main link, are in the pictures folder on the alternate link.

I'm assuming the pictures got saved to the wrong link but I don't know how that happened. ._.; And I don't know how to get it to stop. I don't want to remove the alternate link yet just incase it breaks something when I do. Not sure what's going on.

And something pointless, zomg this problem started on 6/6/06 O3O ITS THE WORK OF TEH DEVIL PLZ

[EDIT3]: Did more testing. I tried removing the pictures folder from http://oekaki.oevista.org/beta2 and having one of the people who had the problems try logging in. They received the "Pictures folder is locked" error. So I was thinking it may have been their account becase everyone else could login fine but when I had them login under two different accounts, it gave the same thing. One account was made by me, one by them.

I had one of them clear her cache but it still gave the same error. So for now I put the pictures folder back so they can at least view the oekaki and comment and post journals and stuff for now.
