How's this going? I'd kill to see a phpBB3/Wacintaki integration.

Depending on what password methods the two scripts use, this shouldn't be all that hard for someone with some decent PHP knowledge.

It's been along time since i have upgraded my mod... This is USA Thanksgiving holiday weekend so I will attempt to update a mod for the latest Wachintaki. Last time i tryed to update I ran into some problems.

Does anyone know whether Nikos mod would work with the latest version? I don't think that mod has been touched since 2005, which is a shame.

Fear not, for I, Sir Unknown Forum User, will update Niko's mod very soon.
Niko's mod was for Wacintaki 1.2.2 and it did work wonderfully with phpBB 2.0.18.
I haven't tried it since then, but once I update it to 1.3.2 I'll post a link to it.

I poked around it a bit, and I fear it's too much modification to both. I rather suck at mods, but I might give this a shot. I want to not have to mod phpbb, cuz everytime it goes down my users go apeshit.

Note that Niko's mod requires changes to both Wacintaki and phpBB.
