It may be necessary to set the oekaki folder itself to a higher CHMOD number, so instead of just CHMODing the templates and resource folders, you may have to do it to the oekaki folder as well (whatever name you decided to use for it). You should NOT have to CHMOD the installer file itself, so don't do that.
Also, some servers don't like it if you use a CHMOD number of 777, which effectively disables security. Make sure the oekaki folder is 755, or if that doesn't work, use 775.
Every time I go to install my oekaki file an error that states forbidden you don't have permission to access this file appears.
