Wacintaki 1.3.1 has been released. It offers a filter for this spam problem, and corrects member-only posting.
It appears to be related to a virus, though. It's fairly common for virus-infected computers to be commandeered as mass spammers.

I've been getting the spam as well. I disabled guest comments too and it's no help for me either. This is my list of banned IPs for now:

The spam list does get a bit shorter every time I add new IPs to the list, so I guess they're starting to run out of addresses to send messages from. Or not.

Not sure if it matters but this has been happening ever since OP came out. I dont know why either. ^^; It's happening on a lot of regular oekaki poteto boards and wax boards too. (just as a note 
)

This is becoming an epidemic. Several different Wacintaki boards have been affected by this problem, including mine.
There's an easy fix for fooling robots, so I'll try working on that. In the meantime, do you happen to know if all the spam is coming from the same host/IP?

I've been getting a flood of spam comments on my board in the last couple days. I disabled guest posting to stop them, but I'm still getting spam from unregistered users. I'm not sure how they're doing it or how to stop them. Help?
