I bought a intuos 4100 but I kinda have a bit of buyer's remorse cause I don't really do enough digital drawing to justify it and the way I like to draw I'am not really getting the benfit of the better pressure sensitivity although the better DPI is great.

Getting clip studio with it was what swayed me even though I'm probably not use it very much.

Yours is the same model as mine, is that why you coloured it this way? I'd be able to do it like that too but I can't change the pixel size to anything but '1'. Can you change your pixel size? Also what kind of computer do you use? I'm using a Mac. :gamer:

I got my own pc build with windows 10 pro, no pixel size through in firefox but I do in edge.

That seems to be my problem, having a Mac. I was quite happy with the results on my PC a few years ago until it imploded on itself and became un-useable. I'm amazed windows hasn't scrapped Edge completely by now, I thought they were going to get rid of it. Hopefully they don't.
I haven't really looked into it but shouldn't Mac have their own drawing tablet by now? Macs were supposed to be the choice of graphic artists and all that jazz but they're like miles behind it seems now...

So was this website shut down for the weekend? I couldn't connect at all and was getting pretty worried. Has anybody heard from Waccoon lately? I went onto FA and it looks like he hasn't uploaded anything there for two months. I was thinking something bad had happened to our favourite raccoon like seriously bad, or maybe it was just my provider... :cry:

My hosting company recently upgraded the server and a few things went wrong. It was a few days since I checked the board, so I didn't even notice everything was down. Sorry.

I'm not dead... I just haven't felt like being online that much, and other than FA/IB I don't use any kind of social media.

After ten years with my cheap £14 trust tablet I finally bit the bullet and bought a Wacom which is light years of difference for me. But I do notice a problems with it and chicken paint in firefox I've got no size on the pen or the pencil but I do in edge but in edge forced pen pressure with the pencil tool.

I had similar problems running chicken paint under Firefox. It just goes to show: You should never trust a fox around your chickens! But I believe Brentos discovered that it runs better under Internet Explorer, if you want to try that next time you draw dubious angels

Yeah, same thing with me. I'm using Safari on a Mac, can't change the pen size, it's always on size '1' and kind of looks pixelated. Your lines look nice and smooth here and at least you can get *some* different line weights which is better than what I'm getting. (maybe I should try applying more pen pressure...)

When I had a PC I was doing some pretty good stuff (in my opinion) when using Internet Explorer. I think I was at the time forced to open Explorer to get any functions at all but when I did it was a lot easier than what I get now with most if not all oekaki features. Right now I can't even colour anything.

Wacom keeps telling me that future versions of Safari won't be compatible with my Wacom tablet at all but so far I can at least do what I'm doing. Maybe Mac has or will come up with their own tablet but til then I'm okay with what I got.

When I'm shading the background with pen lines I can get 'thinner' lines by lowering the opacity. Helpful hintos! :gamer:

Ohh, nice action scene! After all those strips where they were flapping their gums trying to explain the unexplainable, it's good to see some good old fashioned ass kicking! R.I.P. SKA poster I hardly knew ye...not that I ever wanted to! But yes, that was a spectacular TV show! For a screwy comedy, the costumes and sets looked great, and it makes me wonder if there's any other hidden treasures of Australian Television?

Long ago when I was making those 'comics that should never be talked about ever again' on the VCL I had a bunch of haterz on one of those VCL-Cringe sites that thought I actually was a vore fetishist. I was a bit surprised at first at how many people didn't get that I was merely spoofing all the odd fetishes in the furry-fandom. Or at least I was until the comic quickly turned into an actual story and got all emotional and shit so it makes sense that lots of people did think that.

STORY TIME

A long time ago, in like 2007ish,. there was a little douchey teen by the name of Chris, who was new to the furry fandom and an attention seeking little asshat. He came to an oekaki board and pissed off everybody. And then he died in a fire.

Ok actually that teen became me, but last night I was browsing the oldest pages of the site and reliving some memories. Not all good memories mind you. It was a cringe gauntlet. But somehow out of nowhere, I did some digging and managed to find a former poster here, who I tried to reach out to.

And shockingly, we got along well. We reminisced briefly, buried some old rusted hatchets, and just... got along. a solid decade after everything. There's a catharsis there that is incredibly freeing, and I think maybe now I can look back and not want to immediately delete everything.

So for old times sake, I drew my old fursona. Two oatmel cookies to whoever remembers this jackass.

tbf, I never understood the mob mentality of all those people who were coming for you. And honestly there are many people I remember from back then who pissed me the hell off. Sometimes I'd leave a snide comment on one of their posts because I just couldn't take their elitist attitudes anymore.

Jack Kirby originally wanted the comic to be called The Fantastic Five but Stan Lee was all "You know Jack, these are really good characters but I was thinking there should just be four of them, the Fantastic FOUR! It just sounds better don't you think? I think it sounds cooler! It's a good character though I think he's cool".
