background image(s) for users to draw on? (shi-painter)

i'd like people to ba able to have a  background image for users to draw on? (in shi-painter pro).
any ideas?

I'm struggling to get group project support working in v1.2.  A "puclic domain" feature is planned, which will allow multiple people to start from the same drawing.  A "default canvas" feature is a bit beyond what I'd like to do with Wacintaki, but it's a good suggestion for my next oekaki system.

poet helped me do it for oekakibbs.
it remember it just involved adding a line or two in the function(?) so that it wouldn't re-add the picture when retouching, and then adding the pic# to the url.

there's actually a background image variable in the code, too, so someone who knows more than me might be able to figure it out quickly, so...
