Hello! I just wanted to poke in and say thanks for the Oekaki board. I used it for years. though is died a while back due to inactivity and the board code must of got old because I didn't update it for a while. or maybe I deleted the database by accident! LOL But I had much fun with it for years! <3 Recently a happen to spot a Waccoon on FA and decided to maybe I should try reviving my dead board. Last time I used Oekaki it hardly worked when I switched to a mac laptop. so I thought I would test it here to see how it works now. Hi there! Yeah, the entire oekaki community has been on the decline for years since the rise of social networks, but there are still a few old boards around, such as this one. The folks here are a stubborn lot. Wacintaki is still being maintained, but it isn't getting many new features until I can find a decent paint applet not programmed in Java.

I keep meaning to say I like this so this time I really mean it.

heres my suggestions/hopes(have no knowledge at php/cgi/sql so it may seems stupid/lazy)
1 guest can draw (whit no name but ip or somewords specified)
2 have a choose to show the draw time or NOT
3 can complete close adult setting (no adult checkbox)
4 where can i get a japanese oekakibbs264(not meaningful just like japanese interface)
(i got a 2.83 from oekakibbs.com but still in english(and appear as 2.802 not sure)) lang file may edit at oekakibbs.php

1) OekakiPoteto wasn't designed with guest posting in mind, so that would be tricky to hack in without a major overhaul. The major reason is that lots of ugly code would have to be patched in to keep random guests from deleting/editing other guest pictures. If I ever start work on Chedoona (Wacintaki 2.0), guest posting will be an option. 2) Not sure if it's a big deal, since the timer is never accurate, anyway. 3) I'm not sure what you're suggesting. The adult picture checkbox and adult profile checkbox can always be toggled at any time. 4) OekakiBBS is long dead, does not work correctly, and is no longer bundled with Wacintaki. It stopped working years ago because it "phones home" to OekakiBBS.com for advertisement banners that no longer exist. I only have it installed here on my own server for novelty's sake.

I'm more impressed with the foreshortening, resulting from the viewpoint, despite the simplicity of the sketch. @Wac - Damnit, what's with the "Humanity Test"? I was logged into DTP so, why was I presented with that test and find my icon missing from my first attempt? THIS posting was only possible by re-logging-in.

I was logged-into DTP and went right here. Then, it happened as described. Seriously, how was I able to even leave the first comment try if not logged-in? And, why no icon? Also, there was no "Edit" link. Meh. Oh, Goddamnit, it happened AGAIN.

Guest commenting is on, so you can post a comment while logged out. You'll get no icon in that case. I can only guess, but your web browser might have messed up the login cookie. Make sure you're logged in, explicitly log out, and then back in again. If that doesn't work, clear your browser cookies.

Firefox is regularly cleared with CrapCleaner and explicitly in trying to diagnose this.
Logged-into DTP today, and was able to see the normally blued-out adult pics. Clicked on Coonikaki icon to get here and found that the adult images hidden. Online listing shows only 1 user logged-in, me, and it's at DTP/view; NOT Coonikaki.
I return to DTP via the link button and see no adult art "unblued." Returning to DTP via Firefox's "Back" arrow takes me there with adult pics visible.
I expect THIS note to be left without my icon, as were the others.
Java misadventures?

Wacintaki and Coonikaki use the exact same cookie, so both boards should always be logged in at the same time. You should be able to go between the boards with no issue. It sounds like a FF extension is messing with cookies. Do you have a script blocker installed? Many of those will also block or mess around with cookies, not just block scripts. Try starting FF in safe mode ("Help" -> "Restart with Add-ons disabled").

This could have been averted. It said right at the top of the Coonikaki that if you didn't draw something, Tawny would eat you! Well only Pinderhooks listened. In her belly you will learn a new definition of pain and suffering as you are digested over a... Well, let's say a span of 5-6 hours. 4 if she eats a bran muffin. Happy Halloween! <3

Another broken animation? Is it only my compy? Do I need to wave a dead Chicken over it, light candles, dip it in spunkwater... something?

Sadly, it seems to be the basic condition. No idea why it's happening though, but it's broken for me too. Still, if the chicken and spunkwater thing works, tell us!

This is the BEST!!! I love how Sydney found god in his last moments, and how I haven't been that thin since I was in the military. Awesome group picture! As for animations they freeze up on me too especially when I change the speed. I think it's fairly normal because they would freeze up even when my computer was brand new.

So I was going to draw Tawny, but the rough sketch looked too much like a cat, so I was going to just draw a cat, but I was on the wrong board for non-coon entities, so I went and made it as Tawnyish as I could. Also, I made up my mind (such as it is) to not use a reference. Why? Why not? So here it is, the *annual* Coonikaki picture

Holy shit, I -just- realized It's been nearly a YEAR since anyone drew anything on Coonikaki! Thank you for blowing the dust off. As soon as I get a replacement tablet, I'll try to inject some life as well.

hi, let me introduce myself, i'm 4ball, i usually make pics using paintsai and recently flash,but i always wanted to learn how to use oekaki,and this is maybe my 3rd attempt using the applet, so i'm not very good with it, but as i always say, "i'm always trying to improve" (i should call that my motto).

my "engrish" is kinda broken, but i can understand english perfectly

so, thats it, i made this pic 2 days ago but my computer crashed and i couldn't upload it, lucky for me, i took an screenshot before the crash, edited it a bit with an external program (just a bit) and now that you can upload images, i'm uploading it.
